The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for the Lindale/East Texas area stood at 3.4 percent for October, topping the 3.7 rate for the rest of the state, according to figures released recently by the Texas Workforce Commission. Out of a combined labor force of 110,300 in the Lindale/East Texas area, 106,500 were employed. This was a slight improvement over September’s 3.5 percent for the Lindale/East Texas area. more
