The women of the Coterie Club attended their final meeting of the year on Thursday, May 11 with a luncheon at the Cherokee Club.

The Social Committee, consisting of Rachael Brian, Sally Beane, and Carla Nault, created an appropriate atmosphere for the club’s theme of the year, “Anything Amazing about America” with red, white and blue table decorations and delicious food selections.

Maryanne Harris installed the slate of officers for the coming year by presenting a program titled, “An Inspirational Installation.” She pointed out that America is an amazing country with symbols that remind us of our rich heritage such as our flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Declaration of Independence, the bald eagle and the Liberty Bell, etc. Maryanne also read the stirring words from the song, “God Bless the USA.”.

New Coterie officers installed are: President, Francye Phillips; First Vice President, Rachael Brian; Second Vice President, Cissy Covnet; Secretary, Wanda Bittick; Treasurer, Ann Dorney; Reporter, Carla Nault; and Parliamentarian, Jan Mobley.

President, Jan Mobley, closed the meeting with all members reading of the Club Collect in unison.
