Lindale, Hideaway students earn UT Tyler degrees

Commencement exercises were held for more than 1,200 degree candidates representing four colleges at the University of Texas at Tyler during the weekend of May 4-5, school publicity officials announced.

School president Dr. Michael Tidwell, Heartland Security Insurance Group Chairman and CEO Billy Hibbs Jr. presented the candidates from the college of Nursing and Health Sciences, college of Arts and Sciences, the Soules College of Business and college of Education and Psychology and college of Engineering.
