Lindale grad earns degree
from Tarleton State University
D.J. Williams of Lindale recently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Services and Development from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, officials announced.
Williams currently is working on a master’s degree in Agricultural and Consumer Resources at Tarleton.
He is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi, an honor society of leadership and success as well as being a former recruitment chairman for Sigma Chi fraternity. He also served as a Tarleton Transition Mentor.
He is the son of Tonya Tamplin of Lindale and is a 2014 graduate of Lindale High School.
Lindale’s Pew named to Dean’s List
at Lawrence Technical University
John Pew from Lindale has been named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2017 semester at Lawrence Technological University located in Southfield, Mich., school officials announced.
Pew is majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
To be named to the honor roll a student must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average for the term.
Lawrence Technological University, www.ltu.edu, is a private university founded in 1932 that offers more than 100 programs through the doctoral level in its colleges of architecture and design, arts and sciences, engineering, and management.
LeTourneau names local
students on Dean’s List
Two local students were named to the Dean’s List for the Fall semester at LeTourneau University in Longview, school officials announced.
Caleb Wallace, a freshman from Lindale and a mechanical engineer major and Nolan Willmon, a senior business administration major, were named to the Dean’s List.
The Dean’s List recognizes students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 for the semester.
LETU offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in aviation, arts and sciences, business, education, engineering and nursing.
