A memorial service for Nannie (Nan) Hoover, 102 of Lindale, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel with Tharell Boulware, Ardent Hospice Chaplain officiating.

Mrs. Hoover passed away on June 30, 2018, at the Family Vision House in Flower Mound, Texas.

She was born March 6, 1916 in Lindale, the daughter of Cecil and Mae Yarbrough.

In 1936, she married Ira Fleming who preceded her in death in 1979. She later remarried and was preceded in death by husbands Prince Scott and William “Bill’’ Hoover.

Survivors include a son Morris Fleming and wife Jeanine of Lantana, Texas and a sister Mary Ethel Lowry of Starrville, Texas.

Other survivors include four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In 2010, she was honored at Lindale High School’s Homecoming as the oldest living student from the class of 1933.
